Being healthy is important at any age. At Active Future in Tunbridge Wells, Kent, I run exercise classes and one-to-one sessions for older adults. Whether you want to be able to walk unaided to the shops or run a 10-km race, I will help you achieve your goals.

I am a highly qualified fitness instructor with 20 years of experience in the health and fitness industry. I work solely with older adults, offering a motivational and caring approach. My goal is that clients both enjoy their exercise and see great results. I genuinely want people to have an Active Future.

Group Classes

You're never too old to improve your fitness and health. I offer group classes for over 50s and over 70s, as well as one-to-one training for clients of any age.

Rehab

I specialise in Parkinson’s Disease, Dementia and Strokes – helping clients manage, mitigate, and recover from chronic neurological conditions.

Care homes

I run classes in care homes to both engage and help participants stay active.

  • “Charlotte has worked with us for over two years as my husband’s personal trainer as he suffers from a neurodegenerative condition and secondary Parkinson’s Disease. Charlotte is keeping him strong and positive, supporting him and maintaining his independence as much as possible. Charlotte takes a holistic approach, getting to know her clients as individuals, identifying their needs and setting up programmes appropriate to their needs. Her sessions are varied and fun. Charlotte is flexible and adapts her approach according to her clients mental and physical ability that may vary by the day. She never loses sight of the individual’s personality and provides an invaluable service to those in need of support.”

  • “I was diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease in 2017. Last summer, on the advice of my daughters, I looked for a personal trainer and, as luck would have it, found Charlotte who has changed my life completely. Both emotionally and physically. Charlotte is very sympathetic and yet very encouraging. When I am feeling stressed, she calms me down and then energises me to get going. Frankly, now I couldn’t live without her.”

  • “Charlotte helps me retain and improve my mobility with long term Parkinson’s. Her weekly sessions are invaluable. In our weekly one to one session, she motivates me to exercise with her positive attitude. She can identify my weaknesses and finds the best ways to work on alleviating them. She is dynamic, fun to work with, kind, perceptive, thoughtful, hardworking, and extremely good at her job. I have no hesitation in recommending her.”
